Grove Park is a beautiful planned subdivision in Durham County. Grove Park is a lovely neighborhood about 5 miles east of Durham on route 98. It is 20 minutes away from Research Triangle Park, 15 minutes away from Wake Forest and North Raleigh, 25 minutes from Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Grove Park is 15 minutes from downtown Durham and Duke University. Access to Interstate 85 and 40 are both within 10 minutes. It is approximately another 10 miles to Wake Forest and North Raleigh.
Grove Park is located between Wake Forest Highway (Rt. 98), Sherron Road and Mineral Springs Road in Southeast Durham.
Grove Park is separated into two sections. On the north side of Route 98 you have the section called Grove Park, Links Side; and on the south side of Route 98 you have Grove Park, Lake Side. These are both rather large neighborhoods, with "Links Side" indicating homes near The Crossing Golf Club. "Lake Side" represents homes in a community surrounding a lovely lake with waterfront homesites and a very nice clubhouse and pool right on the lake.
The community has a new feel to it and is well maintained by home owners and the home owner's association. Construction of this subdivision was started in the early 1990's and there is new construction still underway in this neighborhood. The community offers a pool, tennis and volleyball courts and a clubhouse on the lake.
There are plenty of reasons why residents enjoy living in Grove Park. Want to know more information?
